Yum Configuration

In the past I used /etc/yum.conf to configure yum-settings i.e. to auto remove dependencies when removing a package clean_requirements_on_remove=1 did the job. Of course you could use other methods instead.

But the thing is, now configuring yum can be done with rpm-packages i.e. yum-plugin-remove-with-leaves there are more yum-plugin-* plugins, like the fastest-mirror package too.
